The hardest part of changing your mind isn't admitting your'e wrong
Its being willing to consider that you might be.
You’ve made a decision. Thought it through. Built a case for it.
Maybe even convinced a few other people.
Then someone disagrees. Your first instinct is to explain why they’re wrong.
Sound familiar.
But maybe they’ve spotted something you’ve missed.
What if, by defending your position, you’re shutting down options?
You don’t have to agree with them.
You don’t even have to change your mind.
Just be willing to give their point of view a proper hearing.
There’s a difference between wanting to get something right and wanting to be right.
The first leaves room for something new.
The second can close it down.
Perhaps the point isnt to change your mind.
It's to leave room for the possibility.
Possibility is everything.
