Terms & Conditions — kLae Coaching
1. Introduction
Klae Coaching offers clarity-based coaching interventions designed to challenge assumptions, spark insight, and foster powerful shifts in mindset. These terms ensure mutual understanding and protection for both coach and client.
2. Definitions
“Coach” refers to Klae Coaching or an appointed coach.
“Client” refers to any individual or organization engaging Klae Coaching services.
“Clarity Intervention” refers to a single or series of focused coaching sessions or experiences.
3. Scope of Service
Klae Coaching is not therapy, counselling, or consulting. It is a professional, ICF-informed coaching relationship focused on generating clarity and transformative insight for the client. All interventions are designed to provoke real-world shifts and may include structured conversations, metaphoric tools, and experiential exercises.
4. Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for their own decisions, actions, and results. Klae Coaching provides a powerful space for exploration, but implementation and outcomes lie with the client.
5. Confidentiality
All sessions are held in strict confidence in accordance with the ICF Code of Ethics. No information will be disclosed to third parties without explicit written consent, except as required by law.
6. Session Format & Cancellations
Sessions may take place in-person or online, and typically last 60–90 minutes unless otherwise agreed. Clients must give 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel without incurring full session charges.
7. Fees & Payment
Fees are agreed in advance and invoiced upon confirmation of services.
For multi-session online coaching packages, payment is split into two: 50% due before the first session, and the remaining 50% before the fourth session.
For outdoor or in-person experiences, full payment is due once the format and date are agreed. Multi-day retreats or extended coaching formats may follow the same 50/50 structure unless otherwise discussed.
Payment is required in order to confirm your place. Sessions may be paused or rescheduled if payment is not received on time.
For multi-day coaching experiences (e.g. Clarity in Motion retreats), a 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking. The remaining 50% is due no later than 7 days before the first session unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Intellectual Property
All frameworks, tools, and materials (e.g., “The CEO Shift”, “Clarity Compass”, etc.) remain the intellectual property of Klae Coaching. Clients may use them for personal development but not reproduce, share, or commercialize without permission.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the coaching relationship at any time, with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Fees for sessions already conducted are non-refundable.
10. Ethical Conduct
All coaching adheres to the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics. Klae Coaching commits to honesty, respect, and professional integrity.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Klae Coaching shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising from the coaching relationship.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy.
Outdoor Coaching & Experiential Sessions
Klae Coaching often takes place outdoors—through urban walks, forest routes, reflective cycling sessions, or retreat-style experiences. These real-world settings are carefully chosen to support movement, space, and fresh perspective.
Clients participate voluntarily and are responsible for their own physical well-being during all outdoor or movement-based sessions. This includes wearing appropriate clothing, being mindful of physical limits, and raising any health or accessibility concerns in advance.
Klae Coaching holds public liability insurance to cover coaching activities in public or natural environments. This protects against coaching-related incidents; however, clients attend and participate at their own risk and are advised to carry their own personal health or accident insurance if desired.
Outdoor sessions will proceed in most weather conditions, unless deemed unsafe. In such cases, an indoor or rescheduled alternative will be offered.
While every effort is made to protect confidentiality in public spaces, complete privacy cannot be guaranteed. Clients are asked to be mindful of this during outdoor sessions.
For retreats or small group experiences, participants are expected to engage respectfully and maintain confidentiality regarding any shared reflections or discussions.
Free Introductory Session Terms
Klae Coaching offers one complimentary 30-minute clarity call per individual. This is a low-pressure conversation designed to explore whether working together feels like the right fit.
By booking this call, you agree to the following:
One-Time Offer: This session is offered once per person. Repeat bookings may be cancelled or converted into a paid session.
Purpose: This is not a full coaching session. It’s a chance to pause, connect, and ask questions about what you need—and how coaching might support that.
Rescheduling & Punctuality: Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, the session may be considered a no-show.
No Obligation: You’re under no obligation to proceed further, and Klae Coaching may also suggest alternatives if the fit isn’t aligned.
Confidentiality: Any personal information shared will be treated confidentially and in line with Klae Coaching’s full Terms & Conditions.
