Coaching in motion. Two days on the bike in the hills.
A kLae cycling experience · Verona · 7– 8 November 2026
I’m a clarity coach. I coach on the move.
The experience—Saturday 7 & Sunday 8 November
Two days of road cycling in the hills above Verona, with the option to add a third day on Monday 9 November.
We’ll ride quiet, paved roads and tackle some proper climbs. I know these roads well and enjoy riding them. We’ll stop along the way for coffee and a light lunch, and make time for conversation without trying to force it.
This isn’t a race or a conventional guided tour. It’s a chance to ride, talk and spend time outside with a small group of people who are curious about the experience.
What does coaching in motion mean? Coaching doesn’t have to happen in a room. When we’re moving, the conversation can take a different shape. You don’t have to maintain eye contact. Silence doesn’t need to be filled. Sometimes a hill, a change of scenery or a stretch of road gives a conversation somewhere to go. I’m an ICF-trained coach. My role isn’t to tell you what to think or what to do. It’s to listen, ask questions and give you room to explore what matters to you.You don’t need previous coaching experience, and you don’t need to arrive with a particular question. You might have something on your mind. You might simply be curious about doing things a little differently.
We’ll ride together and see what emerges.
Who’s it for? For people who enjoy road cycling, are comfortable with sustained climbs and fancy something a little different from their usual weekend ride. You don’t need to be a racing cyclist. But this is a hilly road ride, so you should be comfortable spending several hours on a road bike and have a reasonable level of fitness. You also don’t need to be a coaching enthusiast. You just need to be open to riding with other people and letting conversation happen along the way.
Coaching on the move — sometimes that means walking in the hills or in the city where you are. Sometimes it means getting on a bike and heading for the roads above Verona.
I’ve found that moving side by side changes a conversation. There’s a road to follow, a hill to climb, something to look at. We don’t have to sit opposite each other and make conversation happen.
Good Roads, Good Company is a small-group road-cycling experience built around that idea. We’ll ride some of my favourite roads in the hills around Verona, take coffee stops, have lunch and leave room for conversations that don’t need to follow a particular plan.
The coaching isn’t a workshop bolted onto a cycling trip. It’s part of the experience.
No prescribed outcomes. No need to arrive with a problem to solve. Just a couple of days on the bike, with good company and some space to think.

It’s a couple of days on the bike, in a part of Italy I love riding.
Some climbing. Some good roads. A coffee stop. A conversation that might take an unexpected turn.
You don’t have to make it into anything more than that.
Come and ride.
Small group. No performance. No agenda.
